Marilyn Jentzen becomes CFO of Inspired Entertainment

Inspired Entertainment, one of the world’s leading multi-company iGaming providers, has announced the appointment of a new interim Chief Financial Officer: Marilyn Jentzen.

The appointment follows the departure of Stewart Baker, who served as financial controller and chief financial officer at the company for seven years. Baker resigned on December 20, 2023, but will continue to work with the company to ensure a smooth transition to new leadership.

Marilyn Jentzen is a highly experienced executive who has worked in the financial services and accounting industries for more than three decades. The new chief financial officer was described in a company statement as “an accounting expert, a strong leader and a strategic thinker.”

The new CFO will be responsible for leading the company’s financial policy and her responsibilities will include, among other things, overseeing the group’s accounting functions. In addition, Marilyn Jentzen must ensure compliance with tax regulations in the company.

Jentzen was previously CEO of Innovative Impact Consulting, a company she founded in 2015. Prior to her entrepreneurial venture, the executive served as Senior Vice President of Finance at IGT in Las Vegas, Nevada since June 2014. Before that, Jentzen spent four years successfully at Thomson Reuters.

The CEO emphasized that Marilyn Jentzen follows a strategic and results-oriented approach and has a track record of successful work in listed companies.

Inspired Entertainment’s board has also initiated a search process to find a permanent chief financial officer for the company. The group has signed a contract with a recruitment company responsible for evaluating candidates for the position.

Both the appointment of the interim CFO and the search for a permanent replacement underscore the company’s commitment to maintaining financial stability while pursuing further growth in the highly competitive iGaming industry.

Inspired Entertainment is currently offering Contents, technology, hardware and services for iGaming, betting, lottery, social networking and entertainment operators across retail and mobile channels. The company operates and offers games in more than 35 countries worldwide casino for more than 170 websites.
